On May 8, 2021, several explosive devices exploded in front of a girls’ school in the Dasht-e Barchi district of Kabul.

76 girls died, over 200 others were seriously injured and some of them will remain so for a lifetim

In cooperation with the Afghan Women Association, we implemented an aid campaign for the 74 families who lost their young daughters in the attack.

The families live in extreme poverty. In order to alleviate their distress, they received bridging cash assistance.
